Our fee is $200 per location/table.  We are also asking that each vendor donate a door prize with a $50 value for each location, which will have a general use to a landscape contractor. 

A registration form has been included for your convenience, and must be returned to us no later than January 20, 2012 in order to guarantee space.

With over 200 irrigation contractor attendees and exhibitors, the 2011 IANJ Winter Tech Seminars were an outstanding success. Over 90% of attendees felt that the seminars met their expectations and that the information they learned in the sessions was relevant to their needs as irrigation contractors. IANJ calls for Senate vote on S.478 which permits landscape irrigation contractors to install backflow prevention devices under certain circumstances. IANJ members are encouraged to call their district representatives to urge their support of this legislation.  Go to http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/members/legsearch.asp for a list of state legislators. Current News on CECs
1.   New Jersey certification (license) renewals
No CEC’s are required of any contractor for renewal of their certification (license) at the end of 2010.
There will be CEC’s required of any contractor renewing their license at the end of 2011 contingent on adoption of the LICEB Rules and Regulations

2.  EPA WaterSense Partner
For any New Jersey Certified Landscape Irrigation Contractor who wants to become an EPA WaterSense Partner, they must
•Complete the online application and send to WaterSense with a copy of their NJ certification (license)
•Comply with the CEC requirement
If they apply before January 1, 2011
•If they obtained their New Jersey certification on or after January 1, 2009, they do not have to submit any CECs
•If they obtained their New Jersey Certification before January 1, 2009, they must submit only 5 CECs
•If they apply on or after January 1, 2011 they must submit 15 CECs.

It’s Official: IANJ established Political Action Committee
On June 17, 2010, the New Jersey Department of Treasury formally accepted Business Entity Filing Number 0400354893, establishing the Irrigation Political Action Committee, or IPAC.  IANJ members, who have been discussing this strategy for some time, met in June to form our new PAC to help enhance political activities associated with the IANJ advocacy mission.
