During these uncertain times, we recognize that all businesses are being careful with how they spend their dollars. Like many member organizations, our bottom line has been impacted due to the cancellation of in person events, and also a lower rate of renewal amongst members who are unable to pay their annual dues as their businesses are hit by the economic recession.

As the state’s only professional organization dedicated to the support of and service to irrigation professionals, IANJ has remained steadfast in its efforts to fight for the industry. The COVID19 Pandemic and resulting effects on our state highlighted one of the MOST important member benefits we offer. An early Executive Order threatened to take away the right to work for irrigation contractors. IANJ’s Board of Directors (both current and former members) teamed up with MBI-Gluckshaw, our legislative lobbyist firm, appealing to the office of the Governor with a strong list of reasons that irrigation services are crucial and necessary, and successfully got this determination reconsidered and reversed. At a time when so many found themselves out of work, our industry stayed in business!

As your member association, we will ALWAYS stay on top of the issues that matter to you and your business. It is with this in mind that we respectfully ask for your company’s support through our new Partnership/Sponsorship Initiative.

In past years, we’ve reached out mainly to our supplier and distributor members, asking them to sponsor individual items including the Newsletter, the Membership Directory, and the Annual Golf Outing. As times have changed, some of our members have indicated that one yearly request might make more sense as all companies are strictly reviewing such requests and dealing with limited funds.

We actually put this program together months ago, but with the onset of COVID19 and the uncertainty of how badly it would affect our industry, we felt it best to delay this outreach. Now that we are several months into it, we have decided to go forward with it, especially in lieu of how the Association itself has been affected. Without the continued support of our valued members, the Association would not be able to provide the members services and support that you have come to rely on for so many years.

Attached is a tiered breakdown that includes a wide range of financial support, designed to give our members many options.
