We’re headed back to AC! Join us Wednesday, December 7th for the IANJ Annual Meeting Event at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ (in conjunction with the NJ Turfgrass & Landscape Conference). Members are encouraged to attend this yearly event that combines association business, educational opportunities and a networking social event! Earn valuable CECs in water conservation toward your license renewal by attending the workshop sessions during the day. Enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and pasta/carving stations during the evening reception and business meeting, where you’ll hear an update on the activities of the IANJ, our legislative initiatives, and presentation of the IANJ Lifetime Achievement Award. Board trustees for 2023 will also be announced.

EDUCATIONAL SESSION: 5 Ways to Save Water in the Landscape - Ted Moriarty - 4 CECs

This class will inform, teach and encourage discussion about results-oriented, practical ways to manage water usage on landscapes in NJ. Watering strategies will also be discussed in order to navigate the many restrictions and other limitations in effect now or may be in the future.

This class will review and refresh long-standing scheduling fundamentals and how they are still relevant when using new, weather-based irrigation controllers. Also, a discussion of the capabilities and limitations of weather-based control and how to deal with the positives and mitigate the potential downsides.
