Description (click to read more)

Description:  This class will illustrate how our industry places more value on the hardware and little value on why we construct the systems. It will show how to identify the seasonal water needs of the landscape and then approach the design and construction of the system that will meet those demands. We will demonstrate Et, and soil’s infiltration rates as well as how gravity affect water’s movement in soil. This will all tie together by considering the most efficient way to design and construct a sprinkler system so that it can properly deliver irrigation.

His time in the industry has been spent contracting, working in various distributorships in NJ and VA as a salesperson or executive manager. He’s worked for Toro for the past 13 years in sales. During his career, he’s served on the IA board of directors, as chair of the Irrigation Foundation, as president of the Irrigation Association of New Jersey, and currently as treasurer of the Carolinas Irrigation Association.
